Detroit News: Michigan GOP Watches, Waits its Turn

In a little under two months, Michigan could further add focus to the campaign. It will be the first big Midwestern industrial state to hold a primary. A victory in Michigan could be a springboard for a candidate heading into the 10-state Super Tuesday battle a week later.
"It could show a candidate with a lot of strength," GOP consultant Stu Sandler said. "What this comes down to is who has the organization to capitalize on Super Tuesday."
